About Me
Hi! I’m Brook and I am a current Graphic Designer at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. I am Korean American and a second generation immigrant, which has fueled my approach to many of my personal projects. I am an avid iPad user, often drafting ideas and mockups in a digital sketchbook before developing on more extensive software. When I am able, I like to take a physical approach to design, introducing a range of textures and patterns that enrich my work. While I may tend to lean more unserious in my day-to-day life, I like to dive into more serious topics regarding community and family.
My work has been showcased in:
- Red Dot show at Stove Works Gallery in 2026, an exhibition to raise funds for the Gallery and promote local artists.
- Frivol show with Tincture Gallery in 2026, an exhibit focused on textiles and traditionally femenine practices like sewing and crocheting.
- Petrīˌkô show with Tincture Gallery in 2025, an exhibit showcasing artworks related to ephemerality.
- Sequoya Review in 2025, a publication produced by the University of Tennessee Chattanooga comprised of students’ art and writings.
