Photoshop and Photography
Typography can be used as both a visual and systematic language, creating meaning in a metaphorical sense rather than literal. The Menu focuses on societal standings, and takes an absurdist viewpoint on the inequity between classes. A burger is what ties the upper class to the lower, and marks the beginning and end of Chef Slowiks career. Using raw, almost rotting meat, to create the title plays into the horror aspect of the movie, while also alluding to the burger’s importance in the movie, as it stands as a symbol of devotion and allurement that dwindles as the movie progresses.
