Speak Magazine utilizes text and image in an unconventional way while establishing a cohesive voice for each article. In The Medium Is The Massage, Marshall McLuhan explores how modern media reshapes people's perceptions of community and human interaction. The sporadic breaks in type and collage formatting symbolize the disintegration of established structures and decline of traditional communities. Motherboards and coding have replaced the silhouettes of human figures to highlight how digital technology has replaced direct human connections, serving both to unite and isolate people.
