Book covers are representations of their contents, creating a distinctive design that produces a visual summary for readers. Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland is a classic book following a young girl's dream about navigating an outlandish land filled with whimsical creatures. The hand drawn characters create a feeling of nostalgia and youthfulness with the organic curves and carelessness of the blue coloring in each of the characters. Each character is a part of Alice, and the blue acts as a representation of her and is the reasoning behind why she does not appear on the cover in her physical form. I wanted to continue the dissimilarity shown in the characters throughout the text by having original fonts for each word, which continues to represent the playful presentation of the cover.
