There’s nothing like getting home, stripping everything off, hopping in bed, and typing on my little parasite. Let me clean myself of the day. let me air my dirty laundry. let me fall asleep in peace. i want to be clean. I want my mind to be empty without thought when I fall asleep. I want to smell the soap and lotion on my skin as I'm whisked away into the dreamless sleep I always find myself in. I want to shed my day and not have to worry about how I laughed in a silent room, or how I thought too much about how I don't think enough, or if my bangles get on people’s nerves, or how much time I spend staring at a screen throughout the day. I want to feel comfortable in my routine. I find comfort in my nightly shed.
